Africa Tech Summit (ATS) London will hold its eighth edition at the London Stock Exchange on 7 June 2024, and is pleased to reveal the 15 technology start-ups that will participate in the ATS Investment Showcase 2024.
The ATS London Investment Showcase offers companies the opportunity to pitch their businesses to leading African technology investors, corporates and industry players from Europe, the US and Africa.
The 2024 cohort of startups will cover a variety of sectors, including fintech, cleantech, health tech, entertainment, blockchain, energy, climate tech, agritech, and telecoms.

Decarb.earth (South Africa) is driving the energy transition in Africa, assisting businesses in generating carbon credits from their renewable energy sources through a digital system.
Earthbond (Nigeria) provides a one-stop solar shop to African businesses, utilizing carbon accounting and climate finance.
Melanin Kapital Limited (Kenya) uses blockchain technology to enable financial institutions and investors to verify the legitimacy and credibility of businesses.
Newform Foods (South Africa) leverages a continent-spanning research and development network to assist food producers, retailers, and business owners in developing and scaling cultivated animal products at a lower cost than the industry norm.
OkHi (Nigeria) operates as a digital addressing system, facilitating businesses in collecting and verifying accurate addresses. It sells AI-powered Address Verification to banks and fintechs in emerging markets, aiming to enhance compliance, mitigate fraud, and boost loan performance.
OneHealth (Nigeria) is addressing healthcare disparities by providing digital infrastructure for payers, providers, and patients to access quality medicines and healthcare solutions.
PBR Life Sciences (Nigeria) employs big data and AI to revolutionize healthcare, providing stakeholders with quick and easy access to a data-as-a-service dashboard with predictive capabilities, enabling objective decision-making.
Plentify (South Africa) operates as a smart energy company, offering affordable, reliable, and sustainable energy solutions. They utilize advanced hardware, Artificial Intelligence (AI), and user-centric design to develop smart home products that enhance electricity systems.
Poa Internet (Kenya) aims to bridge the digital gap in African communities by providing cost-effective residential broadband services.
Rana Energy (Nigeria) specializes in offering sustainable, innovative, and customer-centric energy solutions for a greener Africa. They replace the upfront cost burden of solar systems with affordable subscription models.
Sky.Garden (Kenya) serves as a Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) e-commerce platform for African retailers, enabling merchants to initiate, manage, and expand their businesses online.
So-Cool (Nigeria) innovates as an award-winning solution aimed at providing clean and affordable energy to SMEs in Africa.
Teraki (Ethiopia) operates as an audio streaming platform, addressing challenges faced by African authors, content creators, and audiences. Despite high demand for literature and podcasts, generating sustainable revenue remains challenging. Teraki offers a two-way solution to these problems.
VeendHQ (Nigeria) addresses the issue of low credit penetration in Africa, stemming from inadequate credit history data for much of the African population. VeendHQ enables consumers and businesses with verifiable income to access funds on demand.
Wfrley (Egypt) serves as an app for promotions and instant marketing, targeting underserved areas of Cairo. Wfrley provides supermarkets with a Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) solution to manage inventory, POS points, e-commerce, and delivery platforms.
