Cadeler Secures Contract for Inch Cape Offshore Wind Farm Installation

Cadeler A/S, a leader in the offshore wind installation industry, has signed a firm agreement with Inch Cape Offshore Ltd.

This contract solidifies Cadeler’s commitment to expanding its partnerships and diversifying its project portfolio.

The contract entails the installation of 72 Vestas 15 MW wind turbines at the Inch Cape offshore wind farm. Located 15 km off the East Coast of Scotland in the North Sea, the wind farm is poised to generate enough electricity to power roughly 1.6 million UK homes. This significant project underscores the growing demand for renewable energy solutions.

Cadeler will deploy one of its two cutting-edge, newbuild M-class installation vessels to execute the project. These vessels are specifically designed for offshore wind turbine installation and are equipped with advanced technology to ensure efficient and safe operations. The estimated project duration is approximately 249 days.

The contract value for the Inch Cape project is projected to range between €114 million and €130 million. This contract further illustrates the increasing demand for Cadeler’s specialized installation vessels and expertise in the offshore wind industry.
