Maître Gims Unveils $108 Million Luxury Real Estate Project in Marrakech

Congolese artist Gandhi Djuna, widely known as Maître Gims, is making a significant investment in Marrakech, Morocco. He has launched a luxurious real estate project, “Sunset Village Private Residences,” valued at $108 million. This ambitious venture aims to create a haven of luxury living in the heart of the Moroccan desert.

The project, entrusted to renowned real estate developer Horizon Development, will feature 118 opulent villas, each boasting 470 square meters of living space. These villas, nestled within a sprawling 13-hectare estate, offer residents an exceptional blend of desert tranquility and coastal allure, situated near the Agafay desert and just a short 10-minute drive from Marrakech’s vibrant city center.

Maître Gims, a renowned singer-songwriter, has resided in Marrakech for over a decade and is deeply passionate about the city. Through this project, he aims to contribute to the development and allure of Marrakech, a place he considers a second home.

In an interview with Forbes, Maître Gims shared his profound connection to Marrakech, stating, “I fell in love with Marrakech, the place, the people, and the atmosphere. I’ve also shot many music videos and documentaries here.” This personal connection fuels his desire to create a lasting legacy in the city through Sunset Village Private Residences.

With construction already underway, the first villas will be ready for residents by 2026. This project not only promises to redefine luxury living in Marrakech but also stands as a testament to Maître Gims’s commitment to the city he holds dear.
