Hot, Cloudy Weather Expected Today: Qatar Meteorology Department

The weather forecast for inshore areas until 6:00 pm on Wednesday predicts initially hazy conditions, transitioning into a hot day with scattered clouds at times.

This is according to the daily weather report from the Department of Meteorology.

Offshore conditions are expected to be hazy with occasional scattered clouds. This mirrors the inshore forecast, maintaining similar atmospheric conditions across Qatar’s coastal and marine areas.

Inshore, the wind will start out variable, shifting to a northwesterly to northeasterly direction at speeds ranging from 05 to 15 knots. Offshore, the wind is expected to vary between southeasterly to northeasterly, blowing at speeds of 03 to 13 knots.

The sea state inshore will range between 1 to 2 feet, while offshore, it will vary from 1 to 3 feet. These relatively calm sea conditions should be favorable for maritime activities.

Visibility inshore is predicted to be between 4 to 10 kilometers, whereas offshore, it will be slightly less, ranging from 4 to 9 kilometers.

The tidal patterns for various areas are as follows:

  • Doha: High tide at 05:10 and 18:25, low tide at 01:52 and 12:31, with a maximum temperature of 39°C.
  • Mesaieed: High tide at 07:05 and 20:11, low tide at 03:25 and 12:29, with a peak temperature of 40°C.
  • Wakrah: High tide at 06:48 and 19:27, low tide at 02:43 and 11:52, reaching a maximum of 39°C.
  • Al Khor: High tide at 17:56 and 07:19, low tide at 10:01 and 01:26, with the temperature soaring to 42°C.
  • Ruwais: High tide at 07:19 and 19:01, low tide at 01:26 and 13:21, with a maximum of 37°C.
  • Dukhan: High tide at 12:10, low tide at 05:50 and 18:12, peaking at 37°C.
  • Abu Samra: High tide at 11:49, low tide at 05:30 and 17:11, with the highest temperature of the day at 43°C.

The sun will rise at 05:04 LT and set at 18:14 LT, marking the length of the day.
