Qualitas Energy, a global renewable energy investment and development platform, has successfully acquired a wind repowering project with a potential capacity of 36 MW in Brandenburg, Germany.
The project, which has been operational since 1999 with Enercon wind turbines, will undergo a modernization process, replacing the existing turbines with five new, state-of-the-art models.

This ambitious repowering project is already in advanced planning stages and, upon completion, will provide clean wind power to over 24,000 households. Qualitas Energy commits to sustainable projects that not only generate clean energy but also foster trust and support from local communities.

Qualitas Energy recently closed its fifth flagship fund, Qualitas Energy V, at €2.4 billion, solidifying its position as a major player in the global renewable energy market. The company plans to invest roughly 50% of this fund in the acquisition and development of repowering and greenfield projects in Germany, reinforcing its role as a catalyst for the energy transition in the country.
