Qualitas Energy Acquires 56.7 MW Wind Project in Germany for Renewable Energy Expansion

Qualitas Energy, a global investment and project development platform specializing in renewable energy, has recently acquired the rights to a wind project with a total capacity of 56.7 MW in Germany.

This project, consisting of eight turbines, is designed to supply electricity to over 38,000 households. The Qualitas Energy development team is working closely with the seller to ensure the success of this initiative.

Borja Caruana, Managing Director of Qualitas Energy Deutschland GmbH, emphasized that this partnership is a crucial step in accelerating the development of energy projects in Germany.

Qualitas Energy’s strategy is based on the acquisition of project rights for greenfield developments as well as existing wind farms for repowering projects.

The goal is to maximize installed capacity and strengthen the company’s presence in the German market. Johannes Overbeck, Head of Investment, states that the company targets projects that are both sustainable and profitable, in collaboration with local developers.

This approach allows Qualitas Energy to position itself as a key player in the sector.

In response to the growing demand for capital for energy projects, Qualitas Energy plans to invest approximately 1.2 billion euros in acquisitions and project developments in Germany. The objective is to expand the internal project pipeline to a total capacity of 4 GW.

Qualitas Energy Deutschland GmbH, with over 250 employees across several German cities, is well-positioned to carry out these projects, both independently and in partnership.

The acquisition of the rights for this 56.7 MW wind project marks a significant step in Qualitas Energy’s growth strategy in Germany. With substantial investments and strategic collaborations, the company is strengthening its capacity to develop large-scale energy projects, consolidating its position in the market.
